excellent blended bean offering

Visually the whole bean blend seemed very appealing, including some Peaberry. Very similar to my favorite Hawaiian, although not nearly as expensive. Will add it to my permanent rotation thank you.

    Solid medium roast

    Solid medium roast. Nice flavor profile. Disappointed that they don't print a roast date (only a ""best by"" date). Better than some roasters who ship online; worse than some. Middle of the road in my opinion, and lower than my expectations.

    Not fresh?

    Isn't the point of ordering directly from the roaster that you get fresh coffee? I ordered three bags from La Colombe and one bag said Roasted 5/26, one said Best By 10/22/22, and this bag of Afrique said best by 09/22/2022. Is that meaning that it is a full month older than my other bag? And why don't all three bags include a Roast Date, as is the norm for third wave coffee roasters? Or is La Colombe just turning into a second wave replacement for Starbucks fans.

    Very quick service

    I ordered a few things.. a variety packet for my drip coffee maker and another coffee for my French press... I was able to have the coffee ground specially for each method.. shipping said 5-7 days but it came in two ( I am fairly local) very nicely packed and the coffee is delicious
