The Toddy® Cold Brew System is a non-electrical coffee maker that produces a smooth, rich, and delicious cold brew for iced and iced blended coffee drinks - at the strength you prefer. It also can be used to brew tea.
By allowing time to replace heat, Toddy's deceptively simple cold water filtration process extracts the coffee bean's true delicious flavor yet leaves behind much of the acidity. The Toddy® Cold Brew System is BPA Free.

Amazing purchase, it's been a hot and humid summer so drinking anything other than cold brew or iced coffee is miserable! This is easy to use and the paper filter bags help with an easy clean up. For what is ulatimately a glass jar and plastic top, it's rather expensive to not include more paper filter bags with this device.I haven't tried the other brewing option without the filter yet, but it does help with easy & compost friendly clean up!

I prefer the Brazilian cold brew. I would love to use this product to brew my own but there seems to be only one kind of ground coffee (cold brew) that I could use. Am I correct in assuming that there isn't a kind available to use with this system that would taste like the Brazilian. It's really the only one that I like.

If you're looking to use the ground coffee with your Toddy system, we suggest selecting the "French Press/Cold Brew" option for a coarse grind. This question is about the toddy. Can you make smaller batches of cold brew by reducing ingredient measures, e.g. 6.ounces of.coofe to 3.5 of h2o ? One person house so even though it lasts 2 weeks, would like to make smaller amounts for quicker use.

Since the classic recipe is 7 cups of water for 12 oz. of coffee, you may half that recipe and use 3.5 cups of water for 6 ounces of coffee. Enjoy! Was this answer helpful to you

The paper filters should be used once and the felt filters should be changed after 10-12 uses or after 3 months, whichever comes first. To clean, rinse under running water to remove any residue, squeeze off any moisture, and store in an airtight container in your refrigerator or freezer in between uses. No soap needed. How do I make my cold brew with the cold brew system? Does it come with step by step instructions?

- Verified Reply - EmilyHi Branden! The Toddy Cold Brew System recommends steeping your coffee grounds at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours to create a smooth, rich flavor. For the best flavor, start with 12 ounces of coarsely ground coffee and 7 cups of filtered water by volume. First, insert the stopper into the outside bottom of the brewing container; then, dampen the disc-shaped felt filter and insert it into the inside bottom of the brewing container. Next, open the top of your paper filter bag and place the bag into the brewing container. Pour 12 ounces of coarse-ground coffee into the bag, followed by 7 cups of water. Stir coffee grounds gently with a spoon or spatula, to ensure saturation of grounds. Tightly twist the top of the bag to close it. Once your steep is done remove the stopper and let your coffee concentrate flow into the glass decanter. Remove and discard paper filter and coffee grounds. Coffee concentrate will stay fresh for up to 2 weeks in your refrigerator. We recommend starting with a ratio of 1 part coffee concentrate to 3 parts water.
